What does this valve control?
It controls two hydraulic functions on your tipper trailer — typically PTO (to turn the pump on) and body raise/lower, or tailgate open/close and body raise/lower. You flip the lever one way to activate one function, the other way for the second function.
Can I use this on a 24V trailer?
Yes. It works with both 12V and 24V trailer air systems.
Where does this mount?
It mounts in the cab — usually on the dashboard or centre console — so you can reach it from the driver's seat without getting out.
Do I need an auto electrician to install this?
Installation involves connecting air lines and wiring into your trailer's air system. If you're comfortable working with air fittings and trailer wiring, you can do it yourself. Otherwise, have a trailer workshop fit it.
