Razor Front-to-Back Tarp System
The Razor Front-to-Back Tarp System is an electric tarp system for tippers, dog trailers, and side-tippers. The tarp rolls from the front of the body to the back (or back to front depending on configuration), covering or uncovering the load at the push of a button. Drivers operate it from the cab with a wireless remote — no manual tarp handling, no climbing on the load.
The system uses a 12V DC drive unit with integrated controller (DII models) or external controller (RII models), mounted at one end of the trailer body. The tarp attaches to an arm mechanism that travels along the length of the body on cable or rail guides. When activated, the motor winds the tarp arm from one end to the other. Typical operation time is 20-40 seconds depending on body length and tarp weight.
Designed for tippers, aggregate trailers, dog trailers, and quarry bodies where a front-to-back tarp solution suits the load type and body design. Common applications: grain cartage, sand and gravel, aggregate haulage, quarry products, bulk materials. Particularly useful for side-discharge bodies and situations where a rollover tarp would interfere with the load or discharge mechanism.
Available in Delta II (DII) configuration with integrated controller, or Razor II (RII) configuration with external controller.
